What is Naprosyn?

Naprosyn Tablet is used for Acute migraine attacks, Analgesic, Antipyretic, Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Abdominal cramping, Postpartum and post operatively, Abdominal cramps, Juvenile idiopathic arthritis, Dysmenorrhea and other conditions. Naprosyn Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
  • Naprosyn Tablet contains Naproxen as an active ingredient.
  • Naprosyn Tablet works by blocking the effect of enzyme called cyclooxygenase resulting in decreased production of prostaglandins.

Dosage

Missed Dose
The missed dose can be taken as soon as you remember it. It is advisable to skip the missed dose if it is almost the time for your next dose. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.
Overdose
Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.

Naprosyn Tablet - Side-effects

Warnings for special population

Pregnancy - Naprosyn Tab is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless absolutely necessary. Discuss all the risks and benefits with your doctor before taking this medicine.
Breast-feeding - This medicine is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless absolutely necessary. Your doctor may prescribe an alternative medicine based on your clinical condition.
General warnings
Skin rash - Naprosyn 500 Mg Tablet may cause fatal skin allergies without any warnings. Signs and symptoms like rashes, hives, fever, or other allergic symptoms should be reported to the doctor without any delay. The treatment should be discontinued if these symptoms appear.            

Storage

  • Naprosyn Tablet Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light. Keep from freezing.
  • Keep out of the reach of children.
  • Do not keep outdated medicine or medicine no longer needed.
