Uses

Novonorm 0.5 mg Use for the management of Type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, as an adjunct to diet and exercise and sometimes with other drugs for diabetes like metformin.

How It Works

Novonorm 0.5 mg Tablet stimulates the pancreas to release more amount of the hormone insulin, which keeps the blood sugar level in control.

Dosage

Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. However, if you have finished eating, skip the missed dose and continue with the next scheduled dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up for the missed dose.
Overdose
Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.

Warnings for special population

Pregnancy - Novonorm 0.5 mg Tablet is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine.

Novonorm Storage
